IT'S SIMPLE ECONOMICS

Okay, let's say that you buy the double pack of tanks. With tax, 7.5%, that's $32.23 per tank. If you were to buy a green 1lb propane tank from Scheels, at $6.99, that's $7.51 with tax per tank.

Let's say a 20lb tank costs $21.45 with tax and it re-fills 15 bottles. That would be $1.43 per re-fill. $32.23 divided by 20 re-fills = $1.61 (bottles)+ $1.43 (propane)=$3.04 x 20 refills = $60.83. (You still have the re-fillable tanks)

However 20- 1lb tanks at $7.51 = $150.20

And each time you re-fill the Flame King Tank... the cost per re-fill continues to go down.
