Refrigerant Tanks for Sale

FAQ

Flame King's refrigerant tank lineup includes recovery cylinders in 30 lb, 50 lb, 123 lb, 239 lb, and 1,000 lb capacities. All standard models meet DOT-4BA-400 specifications and AHRI guidelines, are manufactured in ISO 9001-certified facilities, and are DOT and TC certified. The 30 lb and 50 lb tanks feature SCG Y-valves for liquid and vapor withdrawal. Flame King also offers 30 lb and 50 lb A2L-rated cylinders specifically designed for newer lower-GWP refrigerants like R-32 and R-454B that require appropriately rated recovery containers.

A2L refrigerants are a newer class of mildly flammable refrigerants, including R-32, R-454B, and R-466A, which are increasingly used in new residential and commercial HVAC equipment as replacements for R-410A. Recovering A2L refrigerants requires cylinders specifically rated and approved for A2L use. Flame King offers dedicated 30 lb and 50 lb A2L refrigerant recovery cylinders to meet this requirement. If you service equipment using A2L refrigerants, you must use A2L-rated recovery containers to stay compliant with industry safety standards.

The right size depends on the refrigerant charge of the systems you typically service. Flame King's 30 lb and 50 lb tanks work well for residential HVAC service. The 123 lb tank suits larger commercial systems where you need more capacity before sending a cylinder out for reclamation. The 239 lb and 1,000 lb tanks are designed for industrial-scale recovery operations or bulk storage. All Flame King recovery cylinders are pre-purged and vacuum-sealed, and arrive ready to use with a refrigerant recovery machine.
