It is designed with a molded handle for added control and comfort. The Flame King YSN500K Torch comes fully assembled and ready to use. At 500, 000 BTU this is the ultimate torch for your heavy-duty jobs. This torch is compatible with standard liquid propane cylinders including; 5lbs, 10lbs, 20lbs, 30lbs, 40lbs, and 100lbs propane cylinders. The Flame King YSN500K Torch includes a 10' hose rated at 350 PSI, as well as a brass adjusting valve to control the flame. The package includes a flint striker for lighting the torch. Propane cylinder not included.

My Propane Torch

Have not been able to use new torch yet but it was just what I was looking for, and it arrived within a few days of ordering. Can't wait to get burning.

powerful and easy to use

Ordered this and it came in a day. It appears it may have been repackaged as the ignitor was missing. I decided to keep it anyway and used a long butane lighter to light it. It attached to a propane tax easily, which you must remember is a left tightening fitting. Lit up easily but when you hit the trigger this thing emits an 18 inch blue flame that sounds and emits heat like a blast furnace! I torched the weeds on my patio on a rainy afternoon to minimize the chances of burning up my backyard. You don't need to char the weeds, they will die from the effects of the heat in a few days, or so the directions say but this is my experience with pouring boiling water on weeds as well. Very comfortable handle as well.

No more waiting to start your BBQ Pit

Overall, I'm very happy with the torch,. It's a powerful tool that has made my work life much easier. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable torch. I mainly use it to start my wood BBQ pit.

Great for killing weeds!

We use this device connected to a propane tank and run the flame over the seams in the concrete drive and sidewalk where weeds seem to appear....very quickly they are gone. We are also edging our gravel drive as well...work in progress!
