Took wife to the sandbar, brought all items for cooking pots, pans, plates, mini propane tank etc. Caught mangrove snapper and speckled trout, in addition to bringing seasoned chicken and rice thus the rest was history. The stove was extremely easy to set up. As with all propane stoves, you must exercise caution. Ensure you put the stove on a flat surface or your pots will slide to the leaning side. Great find!
Works like it's supposed to but it isn't very well built. It's extremely flimsy and comes with out a drip pan. The flame adjustment knobs are cheap and fall off easily but it does cook well. I wish I had bought the Colman Triton with the pieso ignition.
Experience:
I used this stove nightly, for over 2 months. Ran through approx. 10 bottles of propane
Pros:
Built to last. I put this thing through serve testing and it still works perfectly.
The thread to the propane bottles is strong and tight.
The built is strong.
It's efficient with propane.
The wind guards actually work.
Cons:
The heat is focused on an area about 4 inches wide, so keep stirring or things will burn!
The propane neck/nozzle doesn't secure inside the stove when moving, so it rattles around inside the stove
