Liked that it has its own valve. Using to attach to propane bottle connected to hand torch for clearing weeds from sidewalks.

No Leaks, Super Flexable. A real game changer.

I have a Bernzomatic TS4000 Trigger Start Torch that normally screws on to 1lb tanks. Used it for years without issue. For tight spaces I wanted an extension hose.

    Enter the Flame King YSNMT48:
Smaller diameter than expected 3/8" vs 1/2" for added flexibility.
Braded outer sheath that feels and looks better than rubber hose.
Tight fitting threads and no-leak valve.

Issue: At first, I thought the threads were wrong and wouldn't work because I couldn't screw it on to my torch head. Instead, I carefully held the torch connector end in a Vise while pressing and threading it on to the torch head. Much more difficult than normally threading the torch head onto a tank. BUT once it was screwed on...it was on there and NO LEAKS. If I only tried to screw it on by hand, I could see how it would leak (as others have said), but that's only because it actually wouldn't be threaded on all the way.

Bottom line: I would much rather have a tight-fitting hose without leaks than something that's easy to screw on and leaks. Very much enjoying the new hose and flexxy functionality. Lastly, nice Brass finish and smooth working valve with good, knurled grip and no leaks.

The torch end threaded connector was reversed.

Had to remove end fitting so the threaded section Could be reversed. Otherwise seems ok

    Must’ve got a lemon

Threads were a little rough to use. It took quite a few attempts screw on. Once the bottle was opened up for use, the propane came gushing out between the metal crimp and the nylon. Needless to say in was inside and it cleared us out for a while. Everything I buy is influenced by ratings. Insult to injury, on top of receiving a faulty product, it needs to get boxed up and dropped off to a designated UPS point

    Valve Leakage

The rubber-ring seal inside the valve began to leak, and no tightening would stop the leak. One could smell the propane around the cooking station, and the 1LB canister ran dry within a day. I took the valve apart and found two thin rubber gaskets which probably had gotten out of proper placement, but no matter what care and adjustment I gave the valve, it wouldn't stop leaking. I believe the gaskets are at fault here and should be looked at.
